Ingredients

  • 250 g ladyfingers
  • 220 ml espresso
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 50 g sugar
  • cocoa powder

Method

  1. Step 1

    Dip the sponge or ladyfinger pieces quickly in cooled espresso.

  2. Step 2

    Layer the soaked cake into the bottom of the glasses.

  3. Step 3

    Beat the mascarpone until smooth and fold in the whipped cream.

  4. Step 4

    Spoon a layer of mascarpone cream over the cake.

  5. Step 5

    Repeat the coffee-soaked cake and cream layers.

  6. Step 6

    Dust the tops generously with cocoa powder.

  7. Step 7

    Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
