Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 120 g chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 beaten egg
  • icing sugar for dusting

Method

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Step 2

    Roll out the puff pastry slightly and spread the chocolate hazelnut spread over one half.

  3. Step 3

    Fold the plain half over the filling and press lightly.

  4. Step 4

    Cut the pastry into strips and twist each strip several times.

  5. Step 5

    Place the twists on the tray and brush them with beaten egg.

  6. Step 6

    Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until puffed and deeply golden.

  7. Step 7

    Cool for a few minutes, then dust with icing sugar.
