Ingredients

  • 500 ml milk
  • 60 g sugar
  • 30 g cornstarch
  • 25 g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp espresso powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  1. Step 1

    Whisk the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and espresso in a saucepan.

  2. Step 2

    Pour in the milk slowly while whisking to make a smooth mixture.

  3. Step 3

    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the pudding thickens and bubbles.

  4. Step 4

    Remove from the heat and stir in the chopped chocolate.

  5. Step 5

    Pour the pudding into bowls or glasses.

  6. Step 6

    Press a piece of baking paper directly onto the surface to stop a skin from forming.

  7. Step 7

    Chill for at least 3 hours before serving.
