Ingredients
- 400 ml cream
- 150 ml milk
- 60 g sugar
- 1 vanilla bean or 1 tsp vanilla paste
- 2 tsp gelatin
Method
Step 1
Pour the cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla into a saucepan and warm over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
Step 2
Sprinkle the gelatin over a little cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the cream mixture from the heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
Step 4
Strain the mixture into a jug to remove any solids.
Step 5
Pour the panna cotta into ramekins or glasses.
Step 6
Chill for at least 4 hours until softly set.
Step 7
Serve cold straight from the fridge.
