Ingredients

  • 200 ml espresso
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 200 ml cream
  • 60 g sugar
  • 12 ladyfingers

Method

  1. Step 1

    Brew the espresso and let it cool completely.

  2. Step 2

    Whip the cream with the sugar until it forms soft peaks.

  3. Step 3

    Beat the mascarpone in a separate bowl until smooth, then fold in the whipped cream.

  4. Step 4

    Dip each ladyfinger quickly into the cooled espresso so it softens without falling apart.

  5. Step 5

    Layer the soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream in serving cups.

  6. Step 6

    Repeat the layers until the cups are full.

  7. Step 7

    Dust the tops with cocoa powder and chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
