Ingredients

  • 650 g figs
  • 50 g honey
  • 40 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 150 g oats
  • 90 g flour
  • 90 g butter
  • 50 g brown sugar

Method

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 190°C and butter a baking dish.

  2. Step 2

    Toss the figs with the honey and a little sugar, then spread them in the dish.

  3. Step 3

    Rub the butter into the oats, flour, and brown sugar until chunky crumbs form.

  4. Step 4

    Scatter the topping over the figs.

  5. Step 5

    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the top is golden and the figs are bubbling.

  6. Step 6

    Rest for 15 minutes before serving.
